Hi Laurie - Seeing that it's Sunday afternoon you're all probably at the beach...I was going through past mission photos and came across an amusing story...
"Tom Crann from Gander Newfoundland brought a card game (to Barbados 2006)called "Wizard"; similar to Eucher,it was a choice activity for after dinner.
Every evening after supper you (Laurie) showed a slide show of the day's activities on your laptop.
As Jo-well always made time to view the slideshow to monitor the day's progress and each team's strict adherence the the 'schedule', a sceme was hatched...
A staged photo was taken (and included in the slideshow) of a group of Salvationists caught playing cards, in a bar across the road DURING WORKING HOURS.
Needless to say the reaction during the evening slide show was, well, better than we expected..
